So i have a problem. I want to order MC 2.5 or 3.5 Game changer but i don't know what my ride height will be afterwards. I want the 3.5 but i have been reading that it will net you almost 4.5 if your not loaded. I currently run a hardtop with smittybilt xrc front (111 lbs) and rear (70) bumpers and i will also be installing the UnderCloak Integrated Armor System (281 lbs), JK, 4-Door at the same time. With bumpers and skid plates that puts me at 462 approx. I currently do not have a winch and don't know when i will get one. And i don't know if thats enough weight to get me to 3.5 or push me at 2.5. Any help is appreciated ! thanks again !

I am going off rough numbers, but I have the actual numbers wrote down.

On a 4 Door (JKU) the 3.5" Game Changer will net you just over 4 inches without any accessories. With a MC rear bumper and tire carrier and a 35" tire, I am right at 4" in the back. In the front I have a full width MC bumper and Warn Xeon 10K winch with synthetic rope and I and a 1/6th under 4" of lift.

I have 35's on and could have easily went to 37's. There is 8 inches between my tires and my flares when sitting level. That is a lot of room.

If I had it to do over, I would have kept the center of gravity a but lower with the 2.5" springs. I too did not know what to expect. I went bigger because it was only an inch. I should have error-ed on the lower side.

I have the 2.5 MC gamechanger and I measured 3.25 lift. I have 35" tire with trimmed stock fenders and easily could run 37"
I'm pretty heavy with 100lbs DIY and warn winch. I'm running rock hard skids underneath. Stock rear bumper for now.
I believe the lift is 2.5 when I air down to 12lbs on trail.
I tested it couple weeks ago and very happy with results. I have friend with 3.5 and it looks like a beast. Both of us are 4 doors.
Good luck

Brian, I am in the nearly the same boat. MC front & rear bumper/tire carrier and overland fenders. No winch, but plan to add one and also a large security lockbox in the trunk. Do you have flat fenders? Do you have any side shots of your jeep? I want to go 3.5 lift and 35s but would hate it if the tires looked tiny. Anyone else with side shots of 35s, flat fenders, & 3.5 lift?

What did you decide on? 2.5 or 3.5? I'm in the same boat right now trying to decide.

I have the MC 2.5 with the Overland fender, steel front bumper, winch and I ended up with 2.6 lift ( have 3k miles on lift) and I run 37's with no rub. I do still have the "JK Rake" not sure if I like that or not.

Does anyone know if I would get the stock or relocated muffler/exhaust setup if I currently have stock, but plan on getting aftermarket muffler/exhaust? I would just get Stock setup, but it says "recommend" on the options for relocated. I was curious why that is.
Also, how does this handle highway/road?
Thanks!

I just installed the 2.5" Game Changer ARB Long Travel Edition and I actually got 3.5" in the front and around 3" in the rear. This is on a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary so I have steel front and rear bumpers that are similar in weight to your bumpers. I have 35's and I didn't want a huge gap over the tires once I get flat fenders. I also like that the CG slightly lower than it would be with the 3.5" lift. Hope that helps with your decision.

I went stock to the 3.5 game changer, Running 35's with spacers just for added width, but will be running 37s eventually. I run the same bumper as you with a winch and still have right around 3.75 inches. Glad I went with the 3.5 over the 2.5. I am also using the Smittybuilt XRC Fenders

I put the 2.5" Overland Elite on my 4 door Sahara and measured 4" up front and 3.5" in the back at the pinch seams over stock on the same tires.

Similar situation as the OP for me. Sorry not trying to hijack ... just helps to share my logic for justification ha ha

I am limited to an overall height of 76" (in the center) for my garage & am sitting at ~71" on stock wheels & tires no lift. Planning to run 35x12.50r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Running 10A steel front bumper/skid plate, Rugged Ridge Hinged Tire Carrier, & no winch.

A friend measured his jku w/ 3.5" GC at ~76" sitting on 35" duratracs.

Long term I wouldn't mind stepping onto 37s but there will need to be so many mods/upgrades before that can happen. (this would also completely negate garage storage OR mean garage upgrade lol)

Therefore - I am leaning toward the 2.5" springs knowing I can always swap for the 3.5" springs down the road and adjust arms accordingly.

.... or do I just do the 3.5" and then weight the jeep with skids and armor etc if I dont fit into my garage?????:dunno: ...... the dilemma

I would just go 2.5" Game Changer Lift. 35" tires and build it like you want it.

When you go to 37", just get your garage door header jacked up and put another panel in... I'm full of solutions...lol

This is some very interesting information. I havent done a whole lot of research into lift sizes yet as I wasnt planning to get a lift until this summer. I had decided on the MC Gamechanger and was gonna run the 3.5" w/ 37s. But i do a lot of tippy trails...so, now im thinking id be better off with the 2.5"? I have a Hard Rock so it has steel front/rear bumper, steel rock rails, and rubicon skid plates. I was planning to upgrade to GenRight armor and get a winch, dont know if my current weight would be enough to compress the 3.5".

The JK's are pretty nice in that they don't need a lot of lift to clear much bigger tires. Looking at the pics posted I'd stay with the 2.5 if you can safely clear 37's. I have 37's on my YJ with the flattest springs I could run with my stretch and I think it's a good 3" too tall. Someday I'll link it and drop that puppy lower on 40's.

2.5 with flat fenders and 37s would be perfect...and is my end goal.

Exactly what I was looking for!!! That's the lift I think I've decided on. I've got the 75th Anniversary 2door- did you keep your wheels? And what kind of tires did you decide on? Thank you so much for the pix!
