I am running 4.88's with BFG 37's and it may be a touch on the low side. BFG's run a bit small so that could make a difference. First gear is very short lived so I will often take off in second if flat or slight downhill. When calibrating my speedometer I ended up inputing a tire height of...
Just finished 488 gears, EVO truss on the D30 along with C gussets and swing arm skids, Eaton E locker in the rear. And Adams drivelines. Kinda forgot there were 6 gears after running 323 gears with 37's.
I had an auburn limited slip in the rear of my TJ that worked well along with a Spartan lunch box locker in the front. I had a Teraflex 2 low kit in the transfer case so I would run in 2 low on a lot of trails. I was crossing a ditch once where it was teetering between 1 front and one rear and...
Genright is odd in how they identify their fenders. The narrow only effects the front fender making it 2" slimmer than stock which lines up closer with the 4" rear. They had offered a 6" wide but they said they don't even list it due to low demand. I am really happy with their product and think...
So I did put sharkhyde on two of them. I fit two with nothing to see how i liked the raw look, afterward i sprayed the other two with sharkhyde intending to pull the first two off and spray them but time has not permitted yet. S far I can't tell where there has been any change in the uncoated...
so i ponied up and got the gen-right fenders. still considering powder coating black. i'll let it grow on me a bit before i decide. the wife drove it to work with two fenders installed and didn't notice until she got home, if they were black she would have never known.
I am looking at doing aluminum tubular fenders in raw with shark Hyde. I like metal cloak fenders but want to keep road debris off the sides. Looking at gen right or wishbone off-road, wishbone are a lot less money. Anyone have experience with either? Other options?

I am trying to decide on gearing and am finding some information that doesn't seem to match up. SSinGA said his son is running close to 3K rpm at 70mph with an AT and BFG 37's (really 35.6") but the above gearing chart shows he would be running closer to 2400 RPM while a manual trans would be...
I had the extensions for a while with 3.5" MC springs and no problems. Just changed over to longer lines last weekend, the extensions just kinda felt mickey mouse.
So I had a Zone 4" lift on my 02 TJ that really wasn't too bad at first other than ride was a little harsh. All of my jeeps have been a #3 vehicle so not driven daily. All urethane bushings were shot in the Zone arms in less than 3k miles. upgraded arms to Rubicon Express and all worked. Next...
If you set your suspension arm lengths as indicated in the instructions your caster should be pretty close (alignment shop said took minimal adjustment). As for the track bar; pick reference points and measure both sides before tear down. You will need to set the track bar with suspension loaded...
