The instructions say
-Use 15/16” socket to tighten the nut on the top of the bolt connected to the tie rod. Insert cotter pin and bend the ends around the bolt in opposite directions.
Is there a torque spec for the tie rod ends and drag link, or am I supposed to tighten until I can't?
I've had some death wobble issues since doing my lift and HD steering and I noticed that one of the castle nuts on my tie-rod ends wasn't that tight. So I'm going back over all of them and the last thing I want to do is over tighten them. I found a reference for stock torque specs and they say:
"If you have installed aftermarket parts such as suspension lift kits, adjustable track bars, drag links, control arms etc, you should utilize the torque recommendations provided by the manufacturer of each specific part. "
Being the weekend I can't call and ask Metal Cloak so I thought I would ask here because I know some of you have done this upgrade.
Thanks in advance!
