Rear seats

Mama Bear wants me to look into removing back seat (2016 JKU) and installing bucket seats so it would be more comfortable. Is this an easy task? Does anyone know if a pair of front seats will fit back there?

Font seats do fit. I've seen a couple builds on a few different forums. You will have to do some modifying to the sliders though or build custom ones altogether depending on how close to the floor you want them to set.

TJ_Tim is correct. It will work, but you will need to fab up some brackets to make it work.

Revisiting the idea again. What are some pros and cons of a rear bucket conversion?

I'm not sure how using front seats in the rear would work due to the thickness of the stock seats. I wanted bucket seats so I recently went with PRP seats. The rear install is straightforward and easy due to their rear bracket. Only issue is remounting the stock seat belt female ends. The great thing about these are the comfort and the fact that they sit slightly inboard of the front seats giving the rear seats a better view of whats ahead. My rear seats are the summits, very happy with them so far

I’m pretty sure that PRP makes a rear seat now that is set up like the fronts. I believe that ilexo on Instagram just did this.
