Busy weekend! I’ll have a good update tomorrow
Super easy! Three U-bolts slip around the axle tubes and the pinion. Clamp them down with the supplied nuts and you’re done. Plan on 15 minutes for install time at most . I believe I lost around 1/2 of clearance with the skid vs running a diff cover. She is looking good. How was the install on the Rear Diff Skid?
Thanks! I’m just running 35’s for now and have lots of room. I was under the impression I didn’t need to trim it until I have 37’s. I’ll check it at full stuff to make sure.Looking good man. Don’t forget to trim that pinch seam in the rear.
Looks great!
Yup. Mine came in last week. Easiest install on my Jeep so far.Super easy! Three U-bolts slip around the axle tubes and the pinion. Clamp them down with the supplied nuts and you’re done. I replaced mine its not hard to do if u look at were the booster is mounted to the silver aluminum big bracket that is bolted to the firewall has to be unbolted 4 bolts and if u have any accessory wires run threw the empty hole were the clutch is u will need to pull those back inside the jeep. Then once u do that u can lift the brack booster and bracket out. The new booster will get bolted to the bracket then bolt it back into the jeep. The new master cylinder will get bolted on after u get the new booster back in as it wont clear ur abs pump bolted all together. I got the mopar big brake size differences in the pics belowHow tough of an install is that brake booster to do?
Nice build.
Thank you both! We have a trip to Tennessee planned later in June we’re looking forward to. Planning to meet up with Phillip Thorpe for a day at Windrock and/or some local points of interest.Looking good
