Yellow is a longer wavelength so it scatters/bounces back less off of rain/fog/particulate in the air in comparison to white or blue light.I never understood the reasoning behind amber or yellow fogs. What benefits do they present over whites?
Thanks, Sanchi. I will check it outYellow is a longer wavelength so it scatters/bounces back less off of rain/fog/particulate in the air in comparison to white or blue light.
You can read more about it on wikipedia Selective Yellow Light.
Yellow light supposedly penetrates fog better and scatters less than white light. (Or so the story goes )Looking to convert my OEM fog lights to yellow or amber, would really like to have LED bulb, but as long as the result is a true selective yellow would be great!
Thanks in advance.
